I have to decide which of these adorable, hand knit Christmas trees I want to buy from my sister's Etsy shop.
I like the black and silver set if they are going in my library. ~
But then, the traditional red, green and white are awfully cute on top of my spice cabinet. ~
But, I just checked out her shop and saw these great, new teal ones! ~
Then, there's the hot pink, the natural browns .....
So many trees, so little time to decide!!!
These trees are 100% wool, hand made by my sister Knitter Extraordinaire and completely safe for pets and little tots. As much as I enjoy pulling tinsel out a kitty's butt, this may be the safest route for me to go with Maeve in the house!
While I'm making up my mind which to choose, why don't you all go over and check out 2 Be Cherished here and pick out a set for yourself? Come on back and leave me a comment to let me know which colour you love the most and I'll put your name in the hat for a draw. On Sunday I'll pull a name and send the winner their very own set of fuzzy, hand knit Christmas trees!
Yay! I get to give my very first Christmas gift of 2012!
Well before I go over and check those out...I have to stop laughing my butt off envisioning you pulling tinsel out of a kitty's butt!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay...done laughing now...Your sister makes gorgeous stuff for sure! After looking at all them (and they are all pretty)...I was surprised to find that I liked the black ones best.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love the huffalump sweater,...I guess I got distracted. I love the teal trees the best I think. They are so pretty. I so admire knitters.
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty!! I favourited her shop. I like the variegated light green and blue. :)
ReplyDeleteWow- I have never seen anything like these trees. What fun! I really love the natural looking one in the kind of brownish tones-but they are all beautiful- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOOh not sure if your shipping out here, but if you are my choice would be the Hot Pink - love it!
ReplyDeleteVery usual, and so pretty! My favorite are the brown/tan ones. Her baby sweaters are just too beautiful for words, too!
ReplyDeleteOh I want to win this one sooooo badly - love love love the variegated tans and gray one - but they're really all gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteHi Maureen ... glad you have your Christmas decorating started. I am trying to get the Fall decorations put away before I can start. I love your sister's knitted trees. I love the natural brown and tan but all are so pretty. She is very talented ... runs in the family, I guess.

I like the variegated tan and light greys trees the best (I think) but to be honest - the comment about baby sweaters is what convinced me to pop on over - I have TWO grandbabies on the way!

Ah ha ha ha ha.... about the time our cat no longer had a taste for tinsel, the dog decided it was a fun chew.
ReplyDeleteBliss

I found your site via Julie's Little House, it's always nice to meet another Canadian blogger.
ReplyDeleteThose little trees are adorable and would look perfect in my holiday village. I like the variegated tans and gray ones.
oops, border line to enter here Maureen, but never too late. Was looking for a centerpiece for this Christmas party and these would be perfect with some warm vanilla candles, some spruce and some wood accents.
ReplyDeleteGetting married in a month and this Christmas we are celebrating it with Rohan's family (Because mine are 3000 miles east from where I am), for the first time. Such a great keepsake it would make.
